Villa Villekulla

Our indoor learning environment ‘Villa Villekulla’ is a magical house that sparks enthusiasm and calls both children and adults for play and exploration.

Villa Villekulla has two floors. The entrance on the fist floor leads to children's lockers, toilets and equipment maintenance facilities.

The second floor hosts our kitchen, living room / rest and tatami areas, small world play and toilet facilities.

Villa Villekulla hosts a sibling group for children aged

1-5.

All together we have 18 children in the group.

Outdoor Kota-group

The home hub of our outdoor Kota-group is a log cabin by Finnish Timapuu. The daily learning environment is right behind the cabin, a rather large wooded forest area that fences into our yard. The Kota-group enjoys breakfast, lunch and a snack in the cabin. The majority of the groups activities take place outdoors. In the afternoons, the group gathers indoors for a reflection circle time and  transitions to indoor activities & play.

There are 14 children aged 4-5 years old in the Kota-group.

Fairytale Forest

The kindergarten's fenced yard area hides our own evergreen Fairytale Forest. The meandering woods and small batch of rocky terrain make up a wonderful daily outdoor learning environment! All children in the kindergarten have forest access every day. Our younger ones get their first excursion practices safely in our own yard, at a suitable distance, so that after the trek out, there is energy to explore the forest environment!
